7^th High Level Expert Meeting - Asphere Metrology On Joint Investigations

In several preceding workshops and High Level Expert Meetings (HLEM), asphere and free form metrology, supported by two round robin measurements, has been presented and discussed within the international community (Please follow this or this link for a review to previous events).

Starting 1. September 2014 interested organizations had the opportunity to measure the four new selected aspheres (for each a CGH is avaliable). This time even more precise samples with even higher requirements were used. The presentation of the results during our upcoming conference promises again to become very interesting. Many instituions performed measurements and will present their results during the meeting. Contributions on calibration methods for cylindrical optics, the measurement of free-form surfaces, simulations for optical metrology, discussions on the specific presentations as well as discussions on future steps in general will complete the conference.
