1st CIRP- Conference on Nanomanufacturing

Nanomanufacturing is an emerging technology in the synthesis of nanomaterials, manufacture of nanodevices, nanosystems and the relevant characterization technologies, and will greatly impact our society and environment by speeding up scientific discovery, promoting technological development, improving healthcare and living standards, slowing down the exhaustion of energy resources etc. The 1st International Conference on Nanomanufacturing (nanoMan2008) was held from 13–16 July 2008 in Singapore. The conference was a success, and we found a great demand for its continuation. It has thus been agreed by the conference committee to hold the conference biannually from now on.

On behalf of the conference committee, it is my pleasure to invite you to attend the 2nd International Conference on Nanomanufacturing (nanoMan2010) in Tianjin, one of the fastest developing areas in China. It is also named as the 1st CIRP Conference on Nanomanufacturing sponsored by the International Academy for Production Engineering (CIRP). It will provide an exciting platform for the international exchange of the latest research advances and findings, and to promote the sharing of ideas as well as to foster R&D collaborations amongst academics, research institutions and relevant industries.
